New Book Coming SOON

Excuse me while I “squeeeee.” Yes, that is a things and it is a verb and I’m doing it. Why? You might ask. Well, my second book, Sin Full, is coming. Like, I can count the days. Like, the formatter and I spent most of yesterday designing the cover. Like, OMG!

Now, for all you awesome-sauce people who not only bought O-B*tch-uary, but also read it, Sin Full is not like that. In any way. Sin Full is Urban Fantasy with a touch of serial killer dropped in. Also, it will be listed under a pen name, Nella Warrant. Once the cover is complete I will drop a sneak peek in here for you to see. Along with the back cover so you can get an idea of what it is.

But…I am still excited.

Hi, my name is Olivia Carpenter and this is my hair raising, lumpy, bumpy journey. Wanna come? Sure, you do. There’re laughs, fist fights, bra burning parties, nasty drama filled girl snits, baby showers, and death. Let’s not forget that part. Come on, grab a coffee, tea, wine- Oh! Wine, *sigh* Anyway, have a seat and get comfy cuz I have a story to tell.
Did you know the average life span is 28, 835 days? If that didn’t feel short enough, let’s cut that in half?
We each have a finite amount of days, but, on average, we don’t know how many that is. I do. I know my number because it has been stamped on my medical file- Terminal. The question is, how do you live when you know your time is short?
My end started on a cold examination table wearing a threadbare gown.
Turns out, I was hiding a killer under my skin, breast cancer, and it was not a fight I was going to win.
This is how my family and friends learned to live, laugh, and love with my expiration date looming in the background.

You are the voice inside my yell.

An innocent angel trapped in Hell.

My inner demon stole my face.

Your reaction showed no trace.

 

A puddle of nothing on the floor.

The echoing of a silent roar.

Shattered glass found nothing there.

Whispered screams at no one here.

 

Make up covering bursts of rage.

A kitten in a tiger’s cage.

Emotional thirst that must be fed.

All this trapped inside my head.

O-bitch-uary is gone…

I took it down so that new things could go up in its place. Wish it luck in the hunt for an agent and publisher.
